Expressive Arts Facilitator Training

Step into the field of creative possibility, become a creative change maker!

Are you seeking an infusion of color into your life or career? If so, the Creative Awakenings  Expressive Arts Facilitator Training may be just what you’re looking for.

How thrilling would it be to offer inspiring, transformational experiences for your clients, while also infusing your life and career with creativity and joy?

The Creative Awakenings Academy offers a 4-month Expressive Arts Certificate training program. This experiential training is unique because it combines the practice and process of Sheri’s book Creative Awakenings: Envisioning the Life of Your Dreams Through Art, with expressive arts modalities such as: visual/narrative journaling, somatic wisdom,  movement, ritual and nature based therapies. In addition, during your 4-month immersion, you’ll spend two days with horses, learning the art of authentic leadership, partnering with a 4-legged mentor.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will receive a certificate as a Creative Awakenings International Approved Facilitator (CAIAF). As such, you will be eligible to teach Sheri’s book and lead classes and workshops either in your own community or in her community creative arts and healing studio in Carbondale, Colorado.

“Training with Sheri was one of the most profound experiences I have had the privilege to go through. She is an amazing artist and wonderful teacher, walking the balance between challenge and support with ease and grace. The training not only equipped me to work with my clients more creatively, it opened me up to my own inner artist and I have not looked back.”

The next training begins in 2022. Enrollment is now open.
