My primary medium revolves around photography and photoshop.  My artistic work has become a combination of many things, including photographs, scans, and painted/collaged canvases.  I am constantly searching for sources of inspiration, whether it comes from a library book, a thrift store find, a class, or a road trip.  The process of blending various images to create a unique vision is exciting and therapeutic.  Many times I will add a little irony or darkness to add tension to the viewer’s experience and bring the viewer a more thought provoking and story-telling piece.  My current series is my own personal take on the pin up girl… enjoy!

Featured Artist: Lynne Diekmann
Born and raised in Queens N.Y. I attended the High School of Art and Design in N.Y.C.but quickly left for the serenity of the mountains of V.T.I stepped away from the Art World when I moved to Colorado in 1989 and put all of my creative energy into my family, my home and my career.Twenty years later the artist in me was looking for a way to re-enter and I found the jump start I needed at Creative Spark studio. I'm now cutting teeth with multi-media and exploring the vast world of acrylics. It feels SO  good to be "arting' again….. .
