Charlie

It’s that time of year again, when all good goblins come to roost. This is my mom’s cat Charlie taken during my recent trip to visit family. I think the photo says it all, as that is actually a good example of his everyday personality-we have a very strained relationship to say the least. Not your average sweet kitty kat!  I thought it was kind of interesting he was sitting on the business section as I am reading a pretty good book called, Your Marketing Sucks. You can find it in my her in the section ON MY NIGHT STAND.

Halloween is one of my favorite times of year. I adore dressing in costume-as anyone can tell you. Here is a photo of me as a kid in our local pumpkin patch. I keep this around so I will remember my inner kid, and not to take myself to seriously.

I am working on our pumpkin. I am not sure what I will do this year, but it is always fun to what shows up in the pumpkin. I think each one has a personality of sorts and that inspires me to create a new character piece each year.

Friday night will be a blast downtown. It is a Dia de los Muertos celebration. I have entered this piece that I did as a tribute to our beloved black lab Feats. She was such a special dog and is greatly missed by us, it was a healing experience to create this altar to her. She will remain forever in our hearts. Enjoy the ghouls, witches and goblins and be safe.
